Carb Spacer

There is a black plastic spacer mounted under the carburetor. When mounted, the tube points to the front passenger side of the engine. The PCV hose connects to the tube and runs back to the PCV valve on the rear of the right valve cover. Ford service part number C9ZZ-9A589-C.

One of our members was making aluminum replacements for this part. BigDee, as he was known, passed away in 2012. Rob Ream (passed away, 2019) ran another batch in 2014. They won't crack like the originals but the aluminum might transfer more heat from the intake to the carburetor.
