Title: 1970 Boss Eliminator 0F91G508823
Post by: elmn8tr69 on August 18, 2018, 06:32:53 am
I have recently purchased a collection of Cougars and will be working to get this Boss 302 back on the road. The car currently has a 351W and incorrect 4 speed transmission. It still retains its original 3:91 rear and had some restoration work done on it over 20 years ago. It has damage on the passenger side but has one side that looks good from a distance. I am currently working to secure a date code correct engine and transmission.I have checked the registry to see if anyone has located its original engine but its long gone. This car has been reported to the Eliminator registry.

Is this Eliminator one of the lot group of Cougars that was offered for sale in Sligo, KY several months back... Scott Burrows being the contact for the deceased family member that had owned the Cougars?

Hello Chris, Congrats on the purchase... I was speaking to Scott on the phone while you were looking at the cars on a Saturday. I was next, and only 2-1/2 hours away... "was" being the key word; lol.
Best of luck with your plans.

I looked at them also. I wasn't interested in purchasing all of them. I just wanted the 70 Eliminator and they didn't want to separate the collection.
