E-mail to an Author of a Post
« on: September 25, 2002, 06:53:14 pm »
I have sent several E-mails from the General Discussion posts, but, haven't gotten any responses.  Is the e-mail feature from a post working properly or am I doing something wrong?

Regards, Mike

Ok. You can click on the e-mail button at the bottom of a post and you will be able to send an e-mail directly to the poster of the message.

If you are reading your e-mails, don't be alarmed if you see "Apache" as the sender of a message. Apache is the name of our server software company. So, if you see Apache, you've got mail from a member of the BOSS 302 messageboard.

On the other hand, the automated e-mail notification of when someone posts a reply in a thread does not appear to be working. Still investigating this one.

It appears the auto notification is working now.

It is frustrating to receive an email from the message board "Apache" and not get any return email address to use.  Please remember to include your email return address or some other means of contact in the body of your message.
