Curious to know.............

Who DID drive their Boss the furthest to the Boss Nationals in Carlisle this past June? I ended up trailering mine after planning all along on driving it from Tn. I had just finished the motor and it didn't have 50 miles on it when Carlisle came up...just ran out of time......Terry

We drove 1280 miles one way to get back home.It helped that we had classic auto air conditioning and a 6 speed tranny.I took us 17 hours to drive it straight threw.

Wow!!!! I'm impressed. What kind of mileage did you get with the 6 speed?

Wow! All I can say is thanks to everyone who drove their car or trailered it to the Boss Nationals. It was one heck of a show rain or shine. Too many times I go to Ford shows and all the quality rides are left at home by their owners for whatever reason. I wish there was a Boss Nats every two years at different venues ala SAAC.

Once again thanks to all Boss Nats participants and thanks to all the cars in the showfield. Made for a very memorable weekend.

BOSSHEMI,  From the moment I found out about the reunion my goal was to have my Boss ready to drive in.When push came to shove all was complete, but there was not enough time for a shakedown distance cruise. So we decided to trailer it to Carlisle. When we got there we found the trailer parking some distance away. But,the looks we got when we drove into the fairgrounds Saturday and Sunday were worth all the effort. Can't wait to do it again! gt40tt,

You would have had an audience even if you pushed it in. Your car was worth the wait. I spent a lot of time under your hood admiring your work. I fully appreciate the Concourse Thoroughbred cars, but I prefer slightly modified myself. Loved the 2x4 intake, the MSD and the big brakes and Magnums. Outside is just as nice. There was something for everyone at the Boss Nats.

BOSSHEMI,   I wasn't even going to bring it if I had to push it ! There were still a few bugs to work out and minor adjustements to make, but my wife, son, and I had a blast. We talked to so many people that I can't say honestly that I'd remember you.Where is the meet in November? Maybe we can make it,or there's always Carlisle next year.

gt40tt, The Ford Expo at the Ohio State Fairgrounds. All indoor parts and decent car corral. Good winter parts hunting event not a car show. Over Thanksgiving weekend.
