Only Calypso Coral Boss 351s were made. I have seen one and documented it in person and has about 850 original miles on it. It is pictured in this months Mustang Monthly, of the Boss 351 Invitational I helped put together for last Novembers Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals.

The two Calypso Coral Boss 351's are from 16 Boss 351's with Special Paint Order. I have 50% of these Boss 351s accounted for!

Rick,,,
I don't get on here too much. In regards to the amount of Special paint Boss 351's. I have been involved, worked on , personally  know of 4, with a rumor of a 5th,  Calypso Coral Boss 351 .  There are no way to determine what the actual color was unless you have the build sheet to my knowledge, The paint code is on the information area at the bottom of the Build sheet, The name of that  color is 1971  Fleet Orange, aka Calyspo Coral , ,  Bob Wilson, aka bobboss351 ,
I be glad to send a copy or post a picture of a build sheet .

Not sure if this is a BOSS 351 or a Mach but a friend from the CJ Forum sent me some pictures 3-4 years ago of this Black R code Sportsroof with what appears to be a Calypso B1 sitting next to it.  Picture was taken at a museum in Tallahassee, Florida.  Looks to be the wrong air cleaner lid for a B1 but it appears to have standard seats which would eliminate a Mach.  Guess it could be a Sportsroof but stripes would be unlikely then...

Rick,
You stated you have located 50% of the Boss 351's above.

Are you referring to the special paint cars only?  Or are you referring to all Boss 351's made?  I know of the 4 calypso coral special paint cars Bob has mentioned, and am also aware of the 5th one, which has not been actually documented, but is believed to be true.

Boss1ncj,

If you read his post close I think he means he has accounted for half of the 16 special paint Boss 351 cars made. As far as the 1806 B1's made, I know he is working hard to account for every one of those cars! Many of us run across these cars and send the information to Rick to help him account for these special cars!

I think the car is a '72 because there is no ram air and it looks like a '72 Q or R code air cleaner. Also, I've seen '72 Mach 1's with standard interior.

Rick,

I just read through this thread, and from what I have gathered, you are trying to manage a database for these cars? If so, we have just located a Grabber Lime Boss 351 and would appreciate any information you may have or that we could share.
