  Hello,
Yes the floor pan is sold to a guy here on the forum  back when it was posted on ebay.    Before I listed the part on ebay, I was in contact with Dynacorn and offer them the part to use for a template  for development and toling design to make a complete one piece floor.  They came back the cost of the tooling was at close to 280,000.00.   That  is a  deal killer. There reply back was that no one would pay 500.00 retail  per piece for them to reclaim there investment.  Bob

Hi Guys I sit here reading the blog concerning the 1971 mustang and Dyacorn. I have been in contact with dyacorn concerning the full floor pan for the 1971-1973 mustang here is there response.

This inquiry dated 12/16/2011 ayp  asked: Gentleman I am in the process of repairing a 1971 mustang fastback. I am looking for a full complete floor pan which includes the transmission cavity. Do you stock this item? If you do not stock this item do you have any intentions of reproducing this full floor pan. I have tried the 1969-1970 mustang full floor pan, however the stamped ribbing is different. Moreover, the 1969-1970 mustang full floor pan requires some ribbing to be cut and rewelded. If you or your suppliers do not have any intentions of reproducing the full floor pan, do you have any ideas of where one can be purchased
Joe answered: We have every intention of making the 71-73 floor pan, however, there is, at this time, no date scheduled.

again I asked on 8/16/2012 ayp asked: Hi does your company have any intentions of reproducing the 1971-1973 mustang full floor pan. If so do you have date in mind when the full floor pan will be avaiable for sale
Joe answered: Yes, but there isn''t a date at this time.

I am in the process of repairing my 1971 mach one I am looking for a full floor pan.  Does anyone have any idea if this part will every be reproduced?  In one hand dynacorn states yes to my inquiry but on the other hand Dynacorn states to bobboss351 we will never reclaim our investment. go figure.  Thanks Ayp

If I were Dynacorn, I would not invest in the production of 71 floor pans. There's just not enough volume of people trying to restore 71-73 Mustangs to concours level to warrant all the work and investment for something not likely to pay off with a profit. One need only look at EBAY for the level of restoration that most people find adequate. The vast majority of people wouldn't know a correct floor pan if it hit them in the face. For those who are looking for concours correct parts, there are plenty of rust free cars in salvage yards and backyards in the western US to find floor pans out of.... As always, just my opinion.
