Wow I had no idea there were so many engines that had been seperated from their original cars.  It is nice to know I am not alone in searching.  Although I am not the actual owner of the 1970 Boss 429 for which I will be searching for the original motor, I am very close to the car and am hoping to one day own the car.  I will shortly have the KK #, of which I am sure is not registered in your database nor with any other registry.  The vehicle has not been licensed since late 70's and has roughly 30,000 miles although as stated earlier does not retain the original motor as previous owner swapped for 428 cj for some reason.  Will follow with info etc as soon as available.  I am not really sure how to even start searchiing, but thought this forum could be a starting point, at least now there is belief that it could be possible to find the original motor.

As Joe said let us know how we can help.  Joe and I are working together on the Data Base and we have actually paired 3 cars now with their original engines.  So if you can get the KK# we can begin helping you search.  Feel free to contact me if you have any questions 317-696-5156.  Welcome to the board!!!
