Hi Guys.   I recently been looking at coil guard around the power steering hose. on cars on eBay and some pics from other members. some have silver coil guards and others have gold cadmium.  how did they come from the factory. I have the coil ready to put on the car but sure which color is correct. My pump is on the way back from Randy  in Texas. so every thing for p/s on the bench have time to do it right. thanks Kenny.  p.s. what the deal the foam around the high pressure hose was that factory thing ?

Not sure on the answer to your question, my original one looks silver (70 Dearborn).  Who did you send your pump to in Houston?

I notice that a lot cars have a 90 degree angle on the on return side hose. just before the insulator. is that for so hose doesn't kink? all the n.o.s hose are sold run from the valve to the pump. should i add it? or just leave it?
