Roy (TA Coupe) has a bunch of pics of his trip Down Under. If he does not get them up I will put them in my photobucket & link it to here.

Russel's 69 is an awesome car, deserved the gold award. (I was one of the 4 judges)

Here's what I wrote to Dale Mathers about my trip down under:

Hi Dale, first here's a link to pics of your car at SAAC 35  You prabably already have it though and from Thunder Hill SCCA race here:
Australia was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  We went on a wine tour the day after we arrived with the local Mustang club, spent all of the second day unloading a container with 3 Mustangs and about 5,000 pounds of Mustang parts and headed to Bathurst on Friday where my friend Sean McDonaugh from BossKraft (who put on the Nationals) arrainged for the 4 of us to get Corporate VIP passes to the area for teams and Sponsors where it was eat and drink all you wanted. I was told that tickets for the VIP area sell for more than $1,000 each. The air conditioned and covered area was right at turn 1. They had a couple of Holden Utes doing some drifting during lunch break that was pretty entertaining and had what looked like a 57 Chevy with a huge blower sticking out of the hood doing lots of donuts around the track. Here's a link to a little something about George being there:  He was interviewed at the drivers dinner/get together on Fri. night and Gavin Bullas the current "Touring Car Masters" Champion and current points leader put the 4 of us up for the night at a house he rents every year for the race. Their website:  and a link to an article about George from their site:  On Sat. George was interviewed a second time by some other Journalists at lunch time. We were treated like royalty the whole time we were at the track. We left Sat. afternoon so we would not have to fight the traffic for hours getting back to Sean's house on Sun. The following Tue. Kevin Marty and his wife came to OZ and stayed with us at Sean's house (they're the ones that do the Marti reports on all the Ford vehicles and produce concourse restoration parts)  On Wed. we went sightseeing at a local zoo and Thur. we took a train to Sydney and caught a few ferries to go sight seeing around Sydney Harbor. Fri. a bunch of us caravaned up to Port  Macquarie for the Boss Nationals where we met a lot of very nice people and had a great time. We stayed until Mon. so we could avoid the weekend traffic. Tue. we went and did a little last minute shopping and then went to dinner at the house of a couple of Mustang people and had some great homemade Greek food before heading back home Wed. afternoon. Well that about covers it for now. Looking forward to seeing you the next time your up or in 2012 if I make it down for the SAAC Nationals that Sean intends to put on. A couple of pics:
