The only problem with Carlisle All Fords is it rains every year.  It's just PA in June.  But it is a big big show and there is plenty of room.  I would expect that Ford tent will have a big calling for the Boss, being it will be about the same time the 2012 goes on sale.  So, from that point of view it would be very cool to see the Boss community take over Carlisle.  Maybe we can even scare the rain away.

Another option would be to work with SAAC.  I'm not sure where they are going to be in 2011, but be there will be a track involved.  ;)

That thought crossed my mind too. SAAC, as of 2 weeks ago at least, doesn't have anything nailed down yet. At least that's what Howard Pardee told me at the Hershey meet.

This is a great central location and one of the best tracks in the country.
I took my FORD GT up there last year and it was great. 2010 Kohler International Challenge with Brian Redman presented by FORD. Maybe Ford will have the new BOSS 302 up there this upcoming year they definitely have enough space for our cars.  Road America 2011  July 14-17 Kohler International Challenge with Brian Redman  (Vintage Cars)

That thought crossed my mind too. SAAC, as of 2 weeks ago at least, doesn't have anything nailed down yet. At least that's what Howard Pardee told me at the Hershey meet.

There is historically a nice grouping of Boss cars at the annual SAAC shows so it's a good idea to throw around. More cars is more people and perhaps a bit of leverage for fees associated with the track/ etc.
SAAC 33 and 34 had 4-5 Boss 9's each and many Boss 302's so the community at SAAC certainly supports the cars.

SAAC-MCR always has a very nice gathering on Memorial Day weekend.  Just a thought.  Where ever it is is fine as I drive mine a lot and a long trip is always fun.  I'm trying to use up my 16" tires so I can justify buying new wheels and tires.  Can't seem to find those 16" sizes anymore. wink wink

What about a Boss Reunion at the beautiful Brown County state park in Indiana during the Shelby Clubs Spring Fling?  They always have Tigers, Panteras, Cobras, Boss's, etc.  It's a great location with lots of shade trees and near-by shops for spouses that may get bored at the show site.  Just a thought.  Here is a link.  Norm

Brown County near Bloomington, In is a great idea. As ablue69 said, beautiful area with lots of shade. Also lots of hotel rooms, good places to eat and shopping nearby in Bloomington, home of Indiana University for those who might not know. There is also camping on the state park property if that's what you are into.

The Grand Am Continental tire finale is at Mid Ohio Sportscar course in September.  Its just a thought, but someone might want to ask someone at Ford Racing about hosting the Boss Nationals at the race.  With the new Boss car on the street and the factory supported BossR in the race its a natural.

Mid Ohio!!!!!!!!

A road race course for a reunion of Trans Am Mustangs Boss 302's.

That sounds like a no brainer.

I was there in 2006 or 2007 with my 1970 B2 and the show cars got to take laps on the track(no high speed stuff) ,but the track photographer took some great shots.

I think this place shoud be highly considered. Mansfield ,Ohio is real close with many hotels and restaurants. Smaller city with out the pain of big city traffic, etc.

Just my 2 cents

I think MId-Ohio would be great. They have vintage races there at the end of June every year. That would be way cool!! I would imagine that Ford will be there with the new Boss. Sounds awesome to me....

If we do that, what volunteers will we have to help take care of things that I can't while being hundreds of miles way? And it will require a lot of work, don't want to sugar coat it. Anyone?
