I'm only a couple of miles from the I-69, I-94 interchange by marshall MI. I won't be leaving until Friday morning and I have the week off on vacation. if you need anything give me a call 269-986-3047. About a three hour drive from Indy to I-94 and another 2 hours to Dearborn.

I did a little hotel research.  Here's a suggestion.

Tulsa:

Holiday Inn Express
18725 East Admiral Place
Tulsa, OK 74015
(918) 266-4100

Indianapolis:

Holiday Inn Express
9790 North by Northeast Boulevard
Fishers, IN 46037
(317) 578-2000

Both are located NE of the city so we wont have to deal with morning rush hour traffic when we depart.  I have spoken to both properties and they both say they have parking for trucks with trailers.  Rates are in the $80 to $100 range prior to any frequent traveler or other discounts.

Thoughts?

Tim

Elvis, I think you told me you would be coming up I35 West from Austin.  If that's still the plan, I'm thinking that the best place for me to meet you is just north of where I35 East and I35 West join up.

There is a Love's truck stop just a few miles north of that.  Its Exit 473 in Denton Tx.

CrazyHorse,  I guess we could meet up with you Wed morning at the Holiday Inn Express that I referenced above.  Sound OK?

Sounds good Tim.   I'm just a few minutes west of town, how early do you want to try to head out on Wed?  I'll send you a pm with my phone number.

I assume we would want to head out no later than 7am, so perhaps you could meet us between 6:30 and 6:45?

I am a morning guy and could head out earlier if everyone is up for it.  We just need to head out early enough to avoid getting into Indy too late.

What do ya'll think?

Tim

Well if your numbers are right 11 hrs of driving...probably should leave @6, so we would get on the road about 6:15.  Guess we we ought to introduce ourselves to CrazyHorse for a couple of minutes.

6:00  I'll try to be there that early.  I normally don't get off work till 2:00am and I'm usually up till 4:00am.  I'm taking off a couple days early so I'll try to adjust my schedule quick.

The Holiday Inn Express in Tulsa is just a few blocks from the Cherokee Casino.

Do you guys have CB's or hand held radios?

"breaker, breaker there Rubber Duck them hogs is gettin intense..."  Make sure you have a big whip antennae, I guess they'll know your from Texas Tim...hey I got you a new handle!  Mine in the day was knight in white satin, had White, white and white interior cutlass.  Anyway, Brad I have 2 Cobra handhelds and with Texas Tim on the CB we should make time....or at least know where we are stopping for bathroom break or diesel or to rob a bank to buy more diesel. :'(

Elvis,  I have a couple of hand helds also.  Not Cobra's but they worked with a buddies Cobra a few weeks ago.  I'll bring them and we can try them.

Mine are two way radios.  I have two so if they are compatible with the ones Elvis has we will be set.

Great.  I don't own the CB, so I wont need to ask to borrow it.
