Saturday judging event
« on: July 15, 2011, 08:46:26 am »
We could use a few 'survivor' cars for the concours event. It doesn't have to be a show car, just a nice survivor. We only have one original owner car signed up. Would like to see more and again, it doesn't have to be a perfect show car.

Contact me or Lisa if you can make it.

Randy, I was just wondering how many Boss cars you will have room for at this event. Will there be a display (non concours) or specific parking for the Boss cars only? Thanks, Mike

We have the whole facility to ourselves that day at Roush. We're hoping everyone drives their Boss to Roush. We have 15 slots for the concours part under the tent. The rest of the parking lot is for Boss cars.

Out of due respect for Jack, Roush is spelled R-o-u-s-h. At least thats what it says on the top of my supercharger.......

No. We didn't plan for one. That won't prevent you from coming will it?

I talked to Ed Myer tonight and I need to make myself clear on the above statement. We, as the BOSS group didn't plan for a swap meet. I'm not sure what MOCSEM has and or does, have never been to their show. I'm trying to get a hold of someone there to see what they have for Sunday swat meet and car for sale wise.

Can you be more specific about the Roush event? I have been there numerous times for car shows and he owns(leases?) many buildings up and down Market street with the first one on the west side housing his car collection. Cars are usually parked out front in the small parking lots at many of his buildings with setup in front of the Roush collection building. Can other cars show up at the event and park there? I am assuming yes since there are many buildings on this industrial park street. The site says 9 bucks for the show so what does that entail? I am trying to see the picture on how this will be handled. I was planning on driving one of my Shelbys over to the event along with my friend's Boss 351. Will leave the cars at home if they are unwelcome. Thanks. Gary

...friends that we're traveling with are bringing their '69 GT350 (members, but not Boss owners) I'm sure they would like/enjoy the ( Shelby ) company?       -Jim
