I have owned 0f02g146688 since I purchased it from the previous Orlando Florida owner in April 2000.  The previous owner purchased the car in 1982 and owned it for 18 years.  I do not know the history of the car from when it was sold at Stokes Ford Inc. in Decatur, AL on March 3, 1970 until 1982.  I contacted the the secretary of state offices of Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and Florida in mid 2000.  All vehicle registration records prior to 1982 had been destroyed in each state.

Mike - My 1970 Boss 302 has similar options to your car, Bright Yellow, W-Code, close-ratio transmission, Shaker hood, rear spoiler, slats, and AM radio.  Other than my car has a black interior, your car is the closest optioned car I've found on the Registry.  I bought my car in Nov. 2010 from the 3rd owner, who had owned the car since 1977.  Good luck in finding the previous owners of your Boss 302.

The records are seldom destroyed, they just tell you that.  They are not computerized. You can hire a private investigator to do a title history search and often he can find out things that you can not.  But it's not cheap..
