I know of several BOSS 302's that are not well known about. I did talk to a guy in Wyocena last fall regarding his yellow BOSS 302. I could not get the vin at that time. Last time I spoke to him he was having it restored and it had just been painted. He had stored it for a long time and was finally getting to it. He works for and owns a couple of UPS routes. He has never called me back despite me stopping and being friendly towards a fellow BOSS owner. Might be too busy. I will stop by his place as I get up into that area in spring planting tombstones.

I also know of another yellow one in the Waunakee area. I kind of know where the guys lives and have seen his car once. I do not think he is a Registry member either.

Give me some time and I'll see what I can find for you.

BOSS 302's are like a fabulous WI cheddar. Both get better with age and you buy them for your enjoyment, not as an investment.

This car is on Lovers Lane just across the  bridge at Wyona Lake. Do a google map search and if you go to street view, you can see his house with the 2 car garage on the right of the house. He is the first house from HWY 22. I don't know if that is Duck Creek. I will be through that area next week. Last time I stopped and talked to anybody, a family member had just been in an accident so I need to be careful.

That's the place!  Thanks much.  I think that is Duck Creek, they do have a dam to make the lake.  Couple of years ago it was just a little stream after the dam failed.

As you get close to coming to WI, give me a shout and we'll see if we can get together. In the meantime I will try to get up into that area and check to see if the BOSS is in. I'll send you a pm with my cell.

You know that that's too early to participate in the watermelon seed spitting contest, right? See you then.

Ryan, sorry about not getting back, life has gotten in the way!  My sister was able to contact him but surprisingly he had little info on his car.  Did not have the VIN.?  Not sure when we will be back up, summer I hope.

I did find the original sales contract from the purchase from Hill Ford in Portage in November of 69.

Lets bump this up to the top again for one more look.  Still have the original window sticker and sales contract if the current owner will/would want them.  I did talk to the guy off HWY 22 in Wyocena and he could not/would not disclose the VIN.  His talk resulted in me not believing it is/was my car, just not sure.  He thought it came out of Iowa and the engine was not the original.  He said it was a 351C but it did have two holes in the dash where I had put the oil pressure and temperature gauges.....
