70 boss Eliminator springs and coils

Did the 70 boss eliminator have special leaf srings and coil springs?

and if so what are the proper paint marks. I would assume an Eliminator would have it own characteristic spring rates, but would they be the same as the Boss 302 Mustang

Cougar springs are different from Mustang springs.

The '70 front springs have gold/tan paint markings. The rear springs have 2 violet/2 yellow paint markings. That is what is on my car's build sheet.

Thanks for that information. I haven't begun my restoration of the Cougar and so haven't dismantled and cleaned any chassis parts to see if any of the markings are still visible. But I know there are no build sheets. The other part that would have distinctive markings would be the drive shaft. Do your build sheets also indicate what those colours would be? My rear leaf springs appear to be original but I can't find any numbers stamped in them similar to my Mustang.
