G'day Dave, good to hear from you. That makes a LOT more sense, now. I wondered why the price was so different, but figured that it was changed because of the economy or something. I retract my words, then! Let the game continue!

Sean,

Two different cars being discussed, both Super Drag Pak B2 Eliminators, equipped with close ratio transmissions and standard black interiors.

The orginal thread was started about the car in Hemmings, that is 0F91G541604, asking $110,000, which is paint code D, is in Illinois and which recently still had the remnants of the original paper tag on the rear end housing.  The present owner of this car has not posted on this thread.

trboss advertising his car on the same thread, rather than starting a new one owns 0F91G544281, asking $75,000, is paint code U was previously in Iowa but based on the area code is now in Nebraska.  It previously had a D1 block in it which has since been replaced with a "date code correct" block which is not original to the car.

Dave, thank you for clearing this up for me as well................so once again I guess we need to see pictures of the trboss car, and his add would be nice as well. I have wrongly assumed that this was the same car we were originally talking about; I just thought the guy lowered his price. So  ex2409pilot, which car are you talking about? I see someone refer to the owner of the 75K car as Tim, and your post says his name is Kurt? Personally I think that trboss should start a new thread with his car for sale and a description with pictures and info.

The owner of the Paint code "D" car is named Kurt.  Here is his first post about the Eliminator on this site;

The car I was commenting on was the yellow one referenced by bosscat40 in the first post and the Hemmings link provided by CaBossFan. Kurt lives about 60 miles west of me in Belleville, Illinois. I first got aquainted with him on the CJ site 3-4 years ago as he has a 70 SCJ too. I am in St.Louis frequently and he invited me by for a look. If anyone is looking for perhaps the best survivor Eliminator on the planet, Kurt's got one.
