17 inch mini-lite wheels look alike
« on: April 26, 2012, 01:06:28 pm »
Hi Guys,
I don't know how many of you guys have seen these wheels.  They are on a Javelin as you can see.  The magazine is the 2012 March issue of Muscle Machine.  I like the way these mini-lite look alike wheels look on the Javelin.  The fronts are 17x8 and the rears are 17x9.5 and they come wider and even in 18" wheels.  I went on line under Team 3 LT III Wheels and here's the link.

I was thinking about a set for our 2007 Mustang.  Or maybe on my 1970 Boss 302 as finding good 15" high performance tires are getting hard to find.  What does everyone think yes or no. I think they look good or better than the factory 2012 Boss 302 wheels.  I will also post this on the New Boss 302 Forum just in case you skip Boss 302 general discussion. :D

I just bought set of those wheels from John Slack via Eric Dickerson. Vintage 48 wheels. I put them on my '69 so I could get better tires also. I just put them on today. I'll get good pics and post in the next day or two.

I also wanted to match my '12 to some degree.

They look nice.  Lets see a early BOSS 302 with them.

Give me a day or two and you'll see them on a '69. It was raining today so I didn't pull the car out.

Dang Randy, she is sitting LOW!  Hope you don't encounter a parade of ANTS trying to cross your path - they'll never make it under your car!  Seriiously, looks GREAT!  As the old saying goes, we NEVER fully "finish" work on our Bosses!

Looking good.

One question, do they make a centercap that works with the B2?

I have always thought the mini-lites looked great.

I got center caps with them but didn't care for them. I like the less is better look.
