New 15" Goodyear Blue Streak Tires
« on: May 02, 2012, 06:01:44 pm »
I purchased two sets of these, when I got my Mini-Lite Wheels. These tires are great for the track, and street. Also such a great classic looking tire. I always get compliments on them.

This is for 4, brand new tires:

15" Goodyear Blue Streak Sports Car Special Tires

6.00 x 15 Sizing (Basically 245/60/15 sizing
)

I paid just shy of 1500 for these.

Price: $950.00 + Shipping

Here is a picture of my other set, mounted on my 15x7 T/A Mini-Lites.

Eric,

are these tires with classic profile (like the goodyear polyglas) or modern profile (like the BF Goodrich radial TA) ?

Thanks, Richard

These are great track tires. I ran them on my Boss and the grip is terrific for mild track use. I ended up selling mine to a guy in TX for a song. This is a great deal for someone!

not really when the rear tire size is 7.00 . these are front tires that are used on  real t/a cars.

AND for the use on street !  if you use them . goodyear clearly states and forged into the side wall NOT FOR STREET USE.

nice tires and a good price for 4 unused.

but a track tire only

Richard,

No they are not. These tires are much better performance tire, then BFG's in regards to grip. The best thing I can compare them to, is an R compound tire, which we don't have a lot of variety in 15 inch sizing.

Well, I guess myself and a lot others are idiots. I have put over 3000 miles on my first set, and they performed great on the street. I would never offer something to the Registry family, if there were any concerns regarding safety. Feel free to google Goodyear Blue Streak (with tread) , street and track reviews. Also, if you have an actual personal experience with these on the street, which backs your conclusion, I would love to hear it.

These appear to be the same tires I ran on my Kirkham. They definately look b*tchin . Did find them to be VERY soft and were picking up rocks and throwing them around in my wheel wells. Mine were not DOT tires maybe a different compound with same appearance/profile? They were considerably wider than Eric's

eric sorry that comment was un called for. i have seen them on street cars .but i would think there has to be a better radial tire out there.plus its not like you are bad weather driving the boss .

these are great tires for the track. and your price is excellent if you were east coast they would be sold.

sorry for the comment

Hey Richard,

Currently, another member might be picking them up. I should know by tomorrow, and will let you know as soon as I find out.

Eric,

these are beautiful tires.
But I stay with my BF Goodrich Radial TA.

Good luck with the sale.
