Engine Bogs , Runs fine otherwise , any suggestions on where to look?

noboss:
I took the Boss out on Saturday , I noticed it was bogging , I took the shaker off to look at the acc pump and it had a nice fuel stream coming from the primary squirters , I thought the accelerator pump was bad but it looks good , I need some advice on where to look , I am usually good with this stuff but this has me puzzled , all the vacuum lines are hooked up.

KevinR:
Earl,
Would that be caused by a stuck float?
Or something clogging the needle bearing?

Fairlane514:
Bogs when accelerating?   Stumbles off idle?

RadBOSS:
IMO,  its not transitioning between idle and mains.  Its clogged in a circuit some where.  You can try blowing gumout thru all the air bleeds,  soak and blow more.  Failing a good result from that ,  take carb apart,  clean (soak) all passages with gumout or lacquer thinner.  Blow thru all passages and orifices with high pressure air,  reassemble (use new metering block to body gaskets).

Danoh1:
Carb.

Send to Jesse Bigs.  Problem solved.

Are you sure the carb is all stock?  did it previously exhibit this condition?

If it used to be good, then the crappy gas has plugged something up.  You can try Berryman's or seafoam.  Lots of it.  I use it on the bikes all the time.  the Ethanhol plays havoc with bike carbs.

If it was never good, or you don't know it can be many things.  Power Valve, shooters, etc.
