Really most are comparable:
Crane Gold: 27750-16
Harland Sharp: S4005
Comp Cams: 19045-16
Ford Racing: M-6564-A460
These are all aluminum. There are SS variants.

XB05SX:
All of those r compatible as there are varying degrees and lengths isn't there? Plug and play so to speak?
RadBOSS:
Those should all be compatible, 1.73:1 lever ratio, correct angular geometry (roller tip to fulcrum to pushrod pocket) for the BOSS 302. All require removal of the drip rail, but not the baffles. You can choose to use stock pushrod length with ball end, but it would be better to determine the optimum length so that the roller tip basically runs symmetrical to the center of the valve stem tip as it goes thru its range of motion.
XB05SX:
Any opinions on Howard's cams, 1.6 or 1.73 ratio?
RadBOSS:
It depends on the ratio your existing cam was designed for. the stock (and many after market cams) ratio is 1.73:1. If you put a 1.6:1 on a cam designed for 1.73 lever ratio you will seriously depower (neuter) your engine. If the cam was designed for 1.6 and you installed 1.73's, you can expect or anticipate to be driving your valves into the pistons.
