It's all very straightforward and you always have the other door to look into to see what "right" looks like.

Great time to lube/ grease up the locking mechanisms and the window tracts and hardware as well.  Will make rolling up the windows and opening the door so much easier.  Also a great time to install or re-install the moisture barrier...

RadBOSS:
Did you get the inside door release latch sorted?

XB05SX:
Haven't had a chance, while I was driving to get my car registered, I blew rocker #5 . Had to get towed to mechanic. He is ordering a new rocker set, but I've been researching roller rockers, so it seems like im putting my foot deeper into the mud and the car isn't even registered yet.

RadBOSS:
Sorry to hear that.  I hate set backs too. Sometimes seems like continuous agony of defeat.

Make sure your mechanic checks all the rockers, fulcrums and push rods.  Wear (usually spalling) and damage. You only want to fix it once.

This suggestion might be too scientific for some members (comment not directed at you,  believe me) but your best option at this time IMO would be a set of roller rockers with the proper posi-locs.  The original stamped steel rocker for the BOSS are almost all but disappeared. If your determine you only need a few replacements ,  some of the members might be willing to part with some good used ones they may have,  but that would only delay what will be eventually inevitable ... roller rockers.

Some manufacturers or suppliers are pushing BB Chevy stamped steel ones as equivalent to the Ford design.  While they may look the same,  have the same lever ratio,  geometry wise (lever angles)  they are very different and should not be used (might search threads and see what nightmare another member went thru when his mechanic installed BB Chevy ones on his motor).  You don't want to double your trouble.

Keep us posted how it goes.
