The Boss 351 is a darn fine car, and probably the best road car of the bunch, I came here and nothing was posted, So I thought I would break the Ice.

BOSS 351 story

well it was 1972 and this guy that was a year behind me in high school(i graduated in 69)shows up at the drag strip in Kent WA with this 'new' mustang, a white one. Peter Package was his name...no foolin'...i didn't really hang that much with Pete, but we knew each other as i had my yellow BOSS at the time but hadn't gotten around to having it set-up for racing yet although it was being built and i still liked going to the drags..had a lot of motor head friends who i helped out with in the pits...anyway...Petes BOSS never lost a race and always took the win in his bracket.

The next few years i saw this car get more radical. The last time i saw it it had duel quads and velocity stacks..no hood and huge racing slicks..i do remember the car running low 11's that year...Wonder where that car is now?..Pete..you out there?
