Something here does not sound right ?
Why can a bidder not go look at this car ?
I for one would not even bid if I could not go and have
a look first !!!!

Does seem a bit odd but put yourself in their shoes. If they allow everybody that MAY want to submit a bid in for a look they would have people lined up around the block. Who knows, may be some 80 year old widow not wanting all the traffic and potential for theft. If I was serious I would turn in a bid and at least get first right of refusal. Now if you have to pay before you can look that's a different story.

Conventional shopping for Boss 429 projects went out the window a long time ago.

If you wants bids, take lots of pictures and put it on Ebay. I don't like this method. Or post the price you want and stick with it..

I'm told its a widow and she dont want people wandering around her home ... so at this point no one really knows the eaxct location of the car ... in two weeks they say they will ntify the bidders and sell it in one day.

I have no interest in this car at that price  ... but if someone wants to set something up with the Shop auctioning the car for the women ... I would be happy to go and take some pictures ... I live close to the location of the car.

NO !
The whole thing looks off..
I would just back away and let the seller rethink
of the proper way to sell...
Detailed pics will help.
