This car and story are in a Rare Find Book. The rotted out hood is from a mice nest made in the air cleaner. That car will be rusty, sat for a long time in Massachusetts .

Why would a car sitting in a MA barn be any more rusty than one from any other part of the county? With only 10,000 miles it certainly didn't see many salty roads.

It's hard to believe a car with aftermarket plug wires, newer tires, battery and all that rusted metal only has 10K miles on it. Really need to look this one over real good.

It is in an old barn/ garage. The moisture just from poor winter storage will rust any bare metal pretty bad. Not to mention if it got salted in a winter as a driver.
