Horst Kwech has passed - aged 82 years.

News filtering through as I write this.  Apparently a heart attack, factory Shelby Racing Co. driver from '68 to '69 with a single appearance (I think) in the Bud Moore Engineering BOSS 302 as a shortage of straightened and fixed (well - more or less) chassis prevented Shelby from having two cars to run post-St. Jovite.  Official notice of his passing will be pasted in later.  Thanks...

Sad to hear that, a very good driver and talented engineer. Enjoyed reading his thoughts on the early trans am years and the "off" from the drivers seat in 69 while driving for CS. Not making them like this anymore.
