It looks great, wonderful job. I love the color you picked. What comes next? I would love to see it in person one day in the future.

Thanks guys, its been a fun couple of years.  I am in awe of the car. When I stand back and just look at it, its just pure, raw badass.  I still need to tie up a few loose ends and finish sorting it out, which given the limited number of track opportunities in this part of the US could take a while. And I need to figure out how to get going with SVRA.  My goal is to run 4-5 vintage events a year.

I think I can help with that.

Jim, I know it's been tough sledding at times, but the results attest to your perseverance and dedication. Plus, you've developed some mad skills!

Job well done! Your car looks awesome..
Current lifelong project:
1969 Mustang Fastback/FOX chassis, 5 speed, 4 wheel discs, with a modern Can-Am 494 (Boss 429), Kaase heads, intake mounted with a 1425 cfm 'B' Autolite Inline carb, ala Trans-Am style…Whew!

Yes, I can now hammer the dents out of my own trash can.  And paint it.   ;D ;D ;D

Let's talk this weekend and catch up.

We took the car to the Circuit of the Americas in Austin this past Saturday for a driving event. WOW, what an amazing track. The driving surface is flawless, the grip is incredible, and it is BIG, FAST and very challenging. Aside from the typical shakeout BS the car ran great.  I was mostly running with buddies with a screamer '66 Mustang and a Contemporary Cobra with a 482 FE.  Definitely the loudest car at the event. ;D

For those who have raced these cars, what type of water and oil temps do you see when pushing a race-prepped Boss 302?

Thanks,

Jim
