Auction 9/12/14 - BOSS429
« on: September 10, 2014, 01:01:40 pm »
Thought I would post this here just as a general interest piece. I was forwarded this link relating to a muscle car auction in two days. What caught my eye was a grabber green BOSS 429. Check it out, what is something like that worth? Lots of other nice stuff too.

If you read the auction terms you will see that you would need $10,000 in your pocket for each car that you wanted to bid on. The bidders will be serious with serious money. This has been all over the news since June or July. So, like Jeremy said, nothing will be cheap.

The GG car is /was a very nice car when a friend of mine used to own it...I assume it's still nice!

I looked at the GG car, it's nice but a few items turned me to not attend the auction tomorrow.

Passenger quarter has been replaced, and a lot of repop parts under hood.

The bidding will be serious tomorrow, and these cars I think will be strong money. Looked to be some serious players there.

That being said, that car is not what I would pursue for strong money. That is purely my opinion for my investment preferences.

Cool experience, and got to catch up with a few board members after at a nice gentlemans club. Bada Bing!
