How about Plato Missouri. That could be convenient for all.

Or maybe Belle Fourche, South Dakota as that is the geographic center of the United States, considered since 1959 and the acquisition of Alaska and Hawaii. We could have a run to Lebanon, Kansas the geographic center of the lower 48 states.

1st universal rule of value,
"Parts are parts, cash is only money and doesn't have the same value. You get that right?"

2nd universal rule of value, "an object is only worth the higher of two values placed upon it by either the current entity in possession of the item, or the value placed on it by an entity wanting to take over possession of the item."

My vote is for California. The "center" keeps coming up in suggestions so...Just for the record, a town in California, called Felicity just west of Yuma, Arizona was deemed the actual Official Center of the World, and there's a plaque there to commemorate it too. As for a meet at the center of the universe, as much as I love the Boss, I do not believe it could go fast enough to get there in time ;). As for the center of the country, do we need to add Hawaii and Alaska into the equation?

Would it be possible to do the East coast event on the first date of regular production and a West Coast date for the last day of production? I know the problems like, do we include the other Boss engines or the Eliminator Cougars with the 302 engines into the production timeline?

Thanks
Jon

Well IMHO we should ALWAYS include BOSS 302 Cougar Eliminators, they are a part of the breed. Also there is no reason to exclude the BOSS 429, or BOSS 351 cars either.

I'll be there regardless of location. Distance will determine weather or not my Boss makes the trip (I will be driving it) a western event would be preferred, especially Arizona, but not likely I'm sure. Having lived in the Bay Area for many years I can't imagin a better location than the wine country and Searspoint. Having been to many Mini-Nats at SP it's a fantastic venue.

I could see Michigan again. The plant tour and museums are great. Greenfield Village is another great thing to see and tour and then there is the track at Livonia. Lots of great hotels and restaurants as well.

BOSS 302's are like a fabulous WI cheddar. Both get better with age and you buy them for your enjoyment, not as an investment.

I have family in the Detroit area and would be fine with Dearborn.  I was at the 2005 event at Carlisle and it is only 2 hours from home.

I would go with Dearborn.

Going to Dearborn in 2017 for the Cougar's 50th. Not interested in making that trip twice in two years.
