Fatboy passes
« on: April 09, 2016, 06:16:54 pm »
Just found out this morning that Doug Monroe, aka Fatboy, passed away last night. I know he was on the board a while back but haven't seen him in a long time. He had the Boss Exchange back in the 80's I think it was. Just thought I would pass the info along.

Very sad,

He had some great input and was chased away.

He would come and visit here with me a lot in the eighties and early nineties. I heard back around the turn of the century, he went off the grid. Always a good guy when I was around him. And very helpful. Sorry to hear the sad news.

I had the pleasure of talking with Doug a few years ago when he appraised both my BOSS and Cougar. He was very passionate about these cars and seemed like a fellow who was full of life.

Very sad news indeed, Doug was a great guy and a Boss expert!  He helped me many times and found some rare stuff when I needed to finish my restoration.  I will always be very grateful for his long friendship and support!  He WILL be missed and we just lost a TON of Boss knowledge too!  RIP Doug, gone too soon!!

It is always sad to hear of one more guy that knew what was right and was helpful leaving the fight. Bye Fatboy/Doug you will be missed.
