I met Dave the day we bought our last Boss(2010). He helped me go over some of the parts while talking to the seller.
A decent guy, he offered to help several times during its restoration.

Nitro was banned, in his case big deal. He was always entertaining and occasionally helpful. I'm sure he was a hoot one on one. Sadly another character has left the show.

I knew Dave Craig for about 35 years, at that time he still had his Grabber Blue 70 Boss 429, and an old front engine dragster, first with a 302 Ford engine, later he installed the Boss 429 out of his Mustang, but I don`t think that he ever ran the car with the Boss engine. He towed the dragster with a 68 or 69 Torino GT coupe, with a 390.In recent years, I would only see Dave occasionally, usually at the dragstrip, or a car show, and on Facebook. Sad that I won`t get to see him anymore. RIP Dave.

WOW! I liked 'nitro'. Was always fun and entertaining! RIP, Dave aka Nitro.
Current lifelong project:
1969 Mustang Fastback/FOX chassis, 6 speed, 4 wheel discs, with a modern Can-Am 494 (Boss 429), Kaase headed, intake mounted with a 1425 cfm 'B' Autolite Inline carb, ala Trans-Am style…Whew!

Sorry to hear NITRO has died. He was a character. He was over the top sometimes, which is what got him banned, but he seemed to have a good heart.
