With a 9F25 assembly date, it is an 8L11 date code block. They weren't casting C8FE blocks in 9L (November 1969).
Is there a VIN on the block?
John
Parts are parts, cash is only money and doesn't have the same value. You get that right?

John, would the date be 1969?  I thought November 11 of 1968.
David
I read this again. John is saying the same thing about the date.

582888 on top of block behind the intake

This block is from a 1969 Cougar Eliminator.  The car is still around, and was sold at Mecum Indy in 2014.

I'm trying to get in touch with the current owner to let him know that his original block has been found.
