WTB 12/13 Boss 302 Prefer LS; Update 13 LS #284 in Barn
« on: April 09, 2018, 10:30:29 am »
Looking for 12/13 Boss.  Prefer LS, however not ruling out a 500A but must have Recaro/Torsen option.  Prefer no mods but will consider those "improvement" mods (ex. shifter) with take offs included.  Want one-owner clean CARFAX with owners kit complete (no dealer or flippers).  Prefer +/- 10k miles by the original owner.  Trying not to be too picky but this is what I want.  I stopped bidding on a 12 LS with 458 miles at RM Sotheby Fort Lauderdale Auction (4/6/18) that hammered for $41k plus 10% fee.  Probably a good price for a collector who would not drive it but my intention is to drive without much regard for miles (I am not a dealer or flipper; this will replace my 69 Cobra Jet I recently sold).  Thanks, I'm located in Oakland County Michigan, PM if you are looking to sell and your car fits the above criteria.

Thx to all, I scored 2013 Black LS #284. 1-owner no mods, 5,800 miles from the used car lot at a Ford dealer in Taylor MI.  Original owner had dealer install front splitter, brake cooling ducts, trans scoop, and programmed trackey.  Well cared for except original rear tires are mostly gone.  FYI, trans was replaced at 3,100 miles at Ford dealer, I was able to buy 4/40 ESP so in case that happens again I pay $100.

LS cars are going to be the ones to have, unless you want to step up into the GT350 arena. I may eventually consider selling my LS. Send me a PM and we can discuss it.

2013 BOSS 302 LS #712 GO
2016 Shelby GT350 Magnetic blk stripes
2017 GT350R-Magnetic w/white stripes
Wife still Happy, recovering.
BOSS 302's are like a fabulous WI cheddar. Both get better with age and you buy them for your enjoyment, not as an investment.

Thx chris, track key is also included (programmed)?  Did blowfish bracket give satisfactory shift quality improvement, or is this a bandaid ahead of Tremec swap?  Fays watts link seems like a priority mod for track day.  Any pics?  I’m going to a Ford dealer Friday to see 13 LS they got on trade, looks a little rough for 5800 single owner miles.
