Hello,
Do you still have any timing pointers for a 1970 Boss 302?

If so, how much are they, and when can I get one?

Regards
Stephen

I sincerely apologize for not keeping all updated. Personal issues as well as fabrication issues have slowed everything down. I did recently speak to fabricators and they are testing two different metals to press product out of. I should get additional samples first part of the year. I will put more pressure to get the job started and completed. In all likelihood, there will only be one large run of product. Happy New Year to everyone. Stay safe and enjoy 2019.

I'd be interested in one when they are ready.  Thanks again for helping make parts available for those of us trying to make our cars as correct as possible.

latest update on the 1970 pointers. The die is made and their have been a few stamped for verification. I selected a few folks to examine them. If they read this post, they can chime in as to how they feel about their look and fit. So here is my issue at present. The fabricator has taken ill and all has come to a short halt. I'm not giving up, but I just want everyone to know why this project has taken soooooo long. I will be checking again in early March.

Update to the 1970 Timing Pointer. The last samples came in and look much better. I'm sure as painted correctly they will look just fine. I will stamp all pointers with a mark on the back portion of some type indicating a replication. I will submit order quantity next week and ask for a quick turn around. Once I have a sufficient quantity on hand, and only then, will I accept requests. I will look into using Paypal, or personal check. Price is not set in stone, but will be about 75.00 which includes priority USPS. This is just an update notice based on what I received today. This has been a very long awaited project.

I am one of the forum members who were provided with a prototype to critique.
I think anyone who buys one will be pleased. The contours and shape are spot on. They are made from an aluminum alloy vs steel, so this makes them fairly easy to ID as a reproduction due to their light weight. Once painted, though, and installed on the engine, I can't see a difference between this one and my original. It should look and function as original. Thanks, Mark, for going to the trouble.

Guys -

Like Doug D - I am also one of the people that Mark trusted to review the early prototypes.  Suffice to say, if you opt to purchase - you'll be pleased with the results.  While I have not painted mine yet - it's a good representation of the original.  An enormous amount of effort went into this and the results reflect it.
