Interesting looking 1969 BOSS 302 Clone on eBay (auction # 132659127042) at no reserve. 4 days to go at this point and its under $10,000 right now. Someone's going to get this car, but it won't be me.

Hahahaha!! I told the guy that he should at least mention in the ad. about the rear seat. He says it has an S-code fastback title but it's made up of several different cars, so yeah...

Jim, your prodding him produced some additional information as he now says the car was constructed from an H-code Fastback and an F-code coupe and that you will get the titles from BOTH cars if you win the auction. Wonder where the S-code went overnight?

This thing is a cobbled up mess, look at the roof line with the 1/4 window and door window alignment issues.

If you get within 100 miles of this thing it is a mistake!!

However this is atypical of this seller and the types of vehicles he sells!

To reiterate.....

CAVEAT EMPTOR and a BIG RUN FORREST RUN on this one!

I haven't been able to figure it out. The first time I saw it I knew there was something bad wrong but couldn't put my finger on it.  I think it may have a coupe roof back to above the qtr. windows and I bet it has coupe door glass.

This car does have the coupe doors/windows, and especially the roof drip rails are obvious giveaways. This is nothing new here, a Coupe to Fastback 'conversion'….and a bad one at that. Since he claims you will receive TWO vins/titles, is enough to scare anyone away…
<My old heap Boss 302…aka S-B Racing!

Current lifelong project:
1969 Mustang Fastback/FOX chassis, 5 speed, 4 wheel discs, with a modern Can-Am 494 (Boss 429), Kaase headed, intake mounted with a 1425 cfm 'B' Autolite Inline carb, ala Trans-Am style…Whew!

Seller intentionally takes low-res and specific angle pics to fool folks who are less observant than most here. One can only hope that the bids are shill bids and not real bidders about to get hosed.

He has been trying to sell this car here and on CL for sometime.

If somebody actually buys this POS; they are in for a rude awakening when it rolls off the truck!!

Frankenturd! If that is a tribute PLEASE take it back. It can only defame the BOSS 302 legacy. The body work looks like it was done by the gypsies that chase damaged cars at the supermarket. Also, I don't think they understood all the differences in the fastback and coupe bodies. Watch the video, look how bad the engine runs. When the throttle is opened the engine goes uh oh. Lastly the edit in the ad with the tidbit about it having been two cars put together should have cancelled all bids.

Looks as if he's now selling the engine and seats out of the car...

Tough lesson for whomever purchased this.
