Eliminators and Space Saver Spare Question
« on: October 17, 2018, 05:01:40 pm »
Did all Boss 302 Eliminators come with a space saver spare, or was it an option and listed on the Marti Report?

Thanks
Richard

Below is the Eminger Report for a 1970 BOSS 302 Eliminator and as the space-saver spare is not listed on the invoice, I would think that the Cougar had a full-size spare:

BOSS Mustangs came standard with a space saver spare because of the lack of trunk space with the 15" tire versus the 14" tire in all other 1969 and 1970 Mustangs.
The collapsible spare tire was an option on a Cougar Eliminator and will be called out on the Marti report or Eminger invoice.
