Is the 1970 Ford space saver inflation bottle the same as Chrysler bottle other than the decals?

No

When looking at bottles.....your really have to look at the changes to construction, holes and dimples in the bottom IF YOU WANT A 69-71 Ford.

Almost 95% of those sold today are Nisson, Chrysler or LATE FORD (harvested from junkyards, painted and a repro sticker applied)  The "market has settled" at between $350 and $600 so it is profitable to dup people.

Mark
P.S.  So this means that almost 95% of the bottles sold in the last 8 years IN CARS are wrong IMO.

Only difference is the upper and lower shells are reversed. Here is original 1970 Boss 302 v older MOPAR. Both have "DG" stamping on bottom.

It would be great if someone posted the details of a known correct bottle as there seems to be a lot of conflicting information out there...

It seems there are differences in the bases (holes) , the top and the bottom overlap, and the caps ….
