These shocks are currently in my 69 Boss 429 & Rides Well.
Located a better dated set for my car so these are for sale.
They will be removed in the next couple of weeks.

KKX shocks are so tough to find and rarely change hands so its tough to put a number on it.  The seller is not out of line by any means.

I think I know what's going on here. It kind of bugs me too but it makes sense. Lots of times for sale adds get posted with a price (they all get posted with a price) and then when the item sells the price is removed and just the words SOLD are present. So when you go look back for items that have sold previously to get and idea of what the number was/is etc.. it's gone. Makes it hard to research parts and prices even just for rough ideas.

I get it though, not to pick on this add at all, it did have a price I remember seeing it (I'm not going to quote it because I don't recall 100% what it was) but it was replaced with SOLD. Lots of times the price posted, asking price, might not be the selling price. I might ask $100 for something but it sells for $75 I don't want to put SOLD next to my $100 asking price, cause it's not really true, nor do I want to post the actual selling price because that's between me and the buyer.

I can say that because I paid $4500 for a set of fronts and rears.  Does that help?  I sold the seller this set for practically what he advertised them for and he restored them.  The asking price was $2200.  My comment didn’t require a rocket scientist to understand.  These are practically impossible to find and if you want a set of original KKX shocks this was a reasonable price.  Another friend of mine paid $2500 for a set of rears.  Is that enough info for me to ‘even say that’?

personally 2,200 sounds like a steal to me, if you can even find a matched set today.  had my front and rear gennies about 10 years and paid much more even then.  i agree prices should be somewhat kept personal if desired, parts are worth what someone is willing to personally pay, imo

I reckon most (not all) B9 owners/past owners feel that ANYONE asking ANY questions should be stood in front of a firing squad and SHOT!!!!
