1970 Boss 429 Production Question - Grabber Orange
« on: June 08, 2019, 10:16:18 am »
Does anyone know how many Grabber Orange 1970 Boss 429s were built with California DSO?

Thanks,

Thanks Tony,

Trying to figure out how many more were made.  Guess I'll give K. Marti a call.  Thought someone else might have already run the numbers.

Here is an old thread that discusses all of the B9 cars related to exterior and interior color combinations:

I know of CC 70 b9s with cal smog but no GO with cal. smog so may be the only one that survived anyway! Good thing about a cal. DSO b9 is u know it isnt rusty but could be sunburned!

The one that I am dealing with is definitely a California GO car. The guy has 3 consecutive serial numbered 70 California B9 cars, GO, CC and GG.

I apologize for adding to the confusion on this as I had neglected to figure in the OP post regarding 70 California emission GO cars. The list that I referred to here covers all B9 cars.

Fred,
Yep, we know who owns those cars!
-Scott.
Current lifelong project:
1969 Mustang Fastback/FOX chassis, 6 speed, 4 wheel discs, with a modern Can-Am 494 (Boss 429), Kaase headed, intake mounted with a 1425 cfm 'B' Autolite Inline carb, ala Trans-Am style…Whew!
