I’ve used for sometime now Brad Penn. The green oil. it has good levels of zinc which is ideal for flat tappet cams.

I've been running Mobil 1  15W-50  for the last several years. Their product information sheet notes 1300 PPM zinc levels as well as 1200 PPM for phosphorus specifically for the 15W 50 weight.

Hey Alex, is that a fully synthetic? I was using that maybe 20 years ago, thinking I was doing the best I could, on an engine I treasured. And it used oil so I switched to Brad Penn ever since with better results (excuse the lack of specifics, it was some time ago)
Do you find that?

Hi Bruce, Mobil 1 15W/50 is synthetic.  I can't really say about the usage as I'm running it in cars that don't get a lot of miles, maybe several hundred a year,  so I change oil just based on time not mileage. I think every Ford I've ever owned was down a quart at 3000 miles ;) but these cars are getting less typically than a 1000 miles on oil changes..
