Say a prayer for Jim Reiss ( aka: TX427Cobra)
« on: July 30, 2019, 11:45:57 pm »
Many of us met and corresponded with Jim during his build of his fabulous '69 replica t/a Shelby Boss. Some have become friends, some good friends.
Jim is home with his wife fighting for his life. Keep him in your thoughts.....

R.I.P Jim - Yesterday afternoon Jim moved on from this life to the next. One of the truly fine human beings who will be greatly missed.

Brian,
Thank you for letting us know, now the importance of the prayers are redirected to the family for the hole in their life. Continued prayers for Jim's family.

I was in Africa on business for a while.  I just heard about Jim’s passing yesterday. I was stunned.

My last conversation with him was on June 6th.  He was going to see an oncologist that week. He hadn’t even been seen yet.  7 weeks later, gone.

We had just started an “FIRL” relationship, as he lives just a few towns away from me. My kids call it Friends In Real Life.  I met his wife at CoTA last year.

We kept making plans for a social with our wives get together for a cookout or a dinner out.  Never happened.

A reminder that tomorrow is promised to no one.

Such a great person. He will be missed by many.
