Yes the 31st mustang built and we been trying to figure out why it had a kk# since it has its original 428 cj drivetrain and no boss 429 shocktowers. KK1202 is over 5000 cars later. KK1201 was a test car.

Its not been lost as its been registered in cj registry all along. Wes was checking early kk #s to serial #s and tracked down the owner and recently bought it. We are trying to figure out why it was so early ordered may 23 and the KK # connection. It is the first 4 speed staggered shock 69 car built and radial tires. Silver jade paint so now thats 2 cars with KK#s painted silver jade but the boss 429 we have here was painted silver jade by mistake as it was ordered to be black.

Original door tag  and buck tag but car painted white over silver jade now and tag wasnt painted over still original finish and rh side of tags not stamped still blank and i never seen that before. Car was invoiced to dearborn test track and and national press show. Its a mach1 with white interior loaded with optional axle ratio which is how low gear cars were before the drag pack option came out march 69.

Yes. There were 8 cars at KK for this purpose. One wasn't assigned a KK number, but was also a component in developing the B9s.
