1969 BOSS 429
"A" code Raven Black
Original owner car purchased new in 1969
Current miles, all by owner, 25,655
Numbers matching original engine and transmission
In storage from 1973 until 2003 when it was refurbished with improvements
All body panels removed for painting
Every attached part removed down to the last nut and bolt
Media blasted all body panels
Epoxy primer applied to all exterior and interior surfaces
Undercarriage stripped to bare metal, coated using Eastwood POR15, Lizard Skin Ceramic coating , and Eastwood undercoating. Floor pans in perfect condition
NOTE: Car was rust free to start with
Engine rebuilt with a .005 clean up bore and new Crower Super rods fitted with Custom forged BMC aluminum pistons, 11 to 1 compression,  with full floating pins . New custom piston rings.
Original Forged steel crankshaft
All components balanced and blueprinted
Custom grind Comp Cams hyd roller cam with Comp Cams springs . Cam card specs come with car
Custom pushrods
Stock BOSS 429 rocker arms with Crane adjusting nuts
Double roller timing chain
Original Cyl heads, full Hemi combustion chambers
NOS Ford "O" rings
Custom built stainless steel long tube headers with 3" stainless steel exhaust and stainless steel mufflers
Intake manifold is an original, one of 16 made, Ford lightweight dual 4 barrel
Carbs are twin Holley 715 CFM with manual choke fitted to front carb and connected to original choke cable
Stelling & Hellings air cleaners fitted to both carbs
All fuel lines replaced using custom bent stainless steel tubing with a Holley electric pump and regulator to deliver fuel
Ignition system replaced with an MSD Billet dist with bronze gear per Comp Cams specs. Precision oiling to dist cam gear provided by drilling oil galley plug indexing and aiming to direct pinhole stream to gear.
Melling high volume oil pump and new pickup. Original oil pan
Ignition wires are stainless steel core custom made with original boots and ceramics
NOS Ford water pump
Custom Griffin 4 row aluminum radiator with Spal electric fan
Custom crossover tube to heads with thermostat ,180 degree, installed. Runs cool at all tims without overheating
Hays forged steel flywheel, Center force clutch and pressure plate
Lakewood steel scattershield
Original toploader four speed, numbers matching, with vintage Hurst Competition Plus shifter
Rear end assembly shipped to Currie Enterprises and rebuilt with new 4:11 gears and Currie Trac Lok
Original rear springs rebuilt and reinstalled
KYB gasadjust shocks
Power steering converted to Chris Alston power rack and pinion
Brakes converted to Baer 4 wheel discs with original emergency brake assembly installed
All brake lines are custom bent Stainless Steel to match originals with braided stainless and teflon soft lines
Body panels that were removed were painted off the car then reinstalled. Base coat clear coat paint. Sorry no original orange peel finish
Stock bumbers show chromed
Custom tubular steel export brace and additional underhood bracing installed. All show chromed
Spare NOS backup lights and side marker lights were purchased years ago and installed to replace original units
All body trim pieces were polished and reinstalled
Interior fitted with original carpet but has new headliner of factory material
Momo leather steering wheel and custom horn button
Custom fitted Stewart Warner vintage mechanical gauges, oil pressure, water temp, and vaccum.
All other interior panels, parts, and seats are original
Wheels are Wheel Vintique custom billet aluminum Magnum 500's  17x8 front, 17x9.5 rear
Tires are "Z" rated BF Goodrich radials
Car is rock solid going down the road and handles far better than stock
Any parts that were removed when this work was done will be available and all are in as removed condition with about 17,000 miles on them.
I DO NOT have all of the original parts. Among the missing are the original wheels, steering wheel, carb, distributor,shifter, bellhousing, and the exhaust system but i do have all of the original ex manifolds , bolts, and flappers.
No doubt I missed some little things here and there but I can answer questions by anyone interested in purchasing this car.
