West Coast "year of the Boss"
« on: December 02, 2019, 10:13:52 pm »
After attending the event in Medford Oregon this past summer, a few of us realized the importance of Boss Mustang get togethers. We had a great time with other Boss owners.

To celebrate fifty years of the Boss Mustang there will be a few Boss events during 2020 and 2021. The first will be May 2nd and 3rd at Laguna Seca raceway. There is a lot of history between the Boss Mustang and Laguna Seca. Even a Boss 302 that carries the Laguna Seca name so it seems fitting to have it there. We will have our own area to park in and will have the event in partnership with SVRA. There will be a lot of vintage racing going on including the Historic Trans Am group and the modern day Trans Am group. There will be tickets for two for two days to the event included with the car show entry. Hagerty will run the show but we get our own area to park in . This includes old and new Boss Mustangs.

We have been afforded the option of a get together at Laguna Seca during the reunion in August. The reunion at Laguna Seca is one of the most famous events on the west coast.

If all goes well and we have the interest we will be running a "Boss Mustang" only event in 2021. With enough interest this could be huge including a track event.
All these events will include both old and new Boss Mustang models. Start planning the May event and more details including a schedule of events and hotel information will follow.
We have a committee but anyone wanting to help, contact me with ideas.
Thanks,
Paul Johnson
