This was built by Steve Strope at his shop Pure Vision in Simi Valley. Years ago, I spoke to Steve about the Fairlane's engine, and he was looking for an Inline carb for the SOHC engine. I mentioned I was building a similar build with a Boss 429/Autolite Inline. I recommended a source for an Inline. Apparently he and his client changed their minds. Anyways, its an awesome car!

Current lifelong project:
1969 Mustang Fastback/FOX chassis, 6 speed, 4 wheel discs, with a modern Can-Am 494 (Boss 429), Kaase headed, intake mounted with a 1425 cfm 'B' Autolite Inline carb, ala Trans-Am style…Whew!
