Do you actually have this part? There is a C9ZZ 6051 D package of two of the smaller rubber type "O" rings as the C9ZZ 6051 B normal head gasket set does not always have enough of the smaller "O" rings for some applications. The two smaller "O" rings are normally not needed and that is why they were sold separately.

I believe you that the part number is right. I just wanted to know if you actually have the part. I want to check my earliernon updated books when I get home on Monday. If you have the part, is it in a small package with only one "O" ring?

Ford serviced the oring kit for nascar heads 34 big and 8 small not street heads 32 big and 10 small then they sold the 2 small in a separate bag by them self. I bought all broken sets I found over the years at old ford dealers and swap meets and then put them together for correct street head count and sold them that way and had 30 or so sets at one time. I had many people over the years call needing just 2 small ones to make complete correct street head count and 1 time I had to send 2 small orings to austrailia. I found many broken sets in ford dealers because they would order another head set just to get the 2 small ones thinking they lost some not knowing that ford had the count wrong and should have been selling the street head count instead of nascar #,

Ed, This really helps explain the mystery to me as I 340'd a lot of those kits back to Ford when I was a parts manager, thinking that the kits were incomplete. For those not in the Ford parts end, a 340 claim is a claim to Ford for parts with an error, shipped wrong or missing pieces. Ford never kicked one back on me but I sure wish that I had some of those today.

The C9ZZ 6051 C part number that you are asking about is the original part number for Boss 302 head gaskets. That number was later replaced by the D1ZZ 6051 B part number.

Fred or Mr. Ed.  Can you tell me what I have here?  It was in a batch of parts I acquired with my car, I assumed it was a partial C9ZZ-B kit.  This is my 1st try to post pictures from IMGUR, let's see if it works.

boss 429 set but looks like u are missing the 10 small o rings that probly were robbed out of the bag of which is usually the case since they are hard to find and short on the count when they were bagged from ford.

Thanks Ed, I'll dig around a bit more and see if I have any other packages with O-rings.

Marc, In your third picture the "O" rings on the left side of the picture do appear to be the elusive smaller ones. I measured them as a comparison with the other "O" rings with my calipers. You need 34 of the larger ones and 10 of the smaller ones for one engine. You probably do not need them anyway and I can give you a really shiny crisp $100 bill for them.  ;D
